講者簡介 About the Speaker 費神父為現任安大校長。他的神學博士學位是來自安大,教授資格取自德國Trier大學(教義及神學歷史)。 Br. Johannes Freyer is the first Rector Magnificus of the Pontifical University “Antonianum”. Br. Johannes Baptist (Hans Jürgen) Freyer was born in Waldshut (Baden), Germany, on the 13th July 1953. At the age of 24 he was received into the Friars Minor Province of the ‘The Three Kings’ of Cologne. He professed his perpetual vows in 1982 and was ordained priest on the 12th March 1983. Before entering the Order, Br. Johannes obtained a License in Banking Sciences at the Industrie-und Handels-Kammer of Wuppertal. He took courses in philosophy and theology from 1978 to 1982, first at Lucerne and then in Bonn, earning a Bachelors degree in theology. At the Institute of Franciscan Spirituality of the Pontifical Athenaeum “Antonianum”, in Rome, from 1984 to 1989, he first of all obtained a License in Theology and then a Doctorate in Spirituality. Having returned to Germany, he attended the Theology Faculty of the University of Trier from 1995 to 2000 and he became a lecturer in dogmatic theology and history at the same faculty. He held various offices in the Province of “the Three Kings” of Cologne: Formator from 1991 to 1995, Provincial Definitor and Moderator of Ongoing Formation from 1992 to 1995. During the same period, he was part of the scientific commission of the Missionszentrale der Franziskaner. The Holy See appointed him Assistant to the Federation of German-speaking Poor Clares from 1992 to 1998. From 1996 he taught as a visiting Professor at the Faculty of Theology at the PAA in Rome. In 1997 he was transferred to St. Bonaventure’s College in Grottaferrata as a Professor and Researcher for the Pontifical Athenaeum “Antonianum” and in 1999 he was appointed “Associate Professor” at the Faculty of Theology. Since 2000, reconfirmed in 2004, he has directed the Department of “Franciscan Thought” at the Scientific Centre of Grottaferrata. On the 19th July 2003 he was appointed Extraordinary Professor. On the 16th February 2005 the Congregation “de Instituzione Catholica” appointed him Rector of the Pontifical University “Antonianum” in Roma and he took possession of his new office on the 9th March 2005, becoming the first Rector Magnificus of the newly erected Pontifical University “Antonianum”. |
